MAKING PEOPLE HAPPY

What started as a passion for making people happy, and having a good time doing it, turned into the one word equivalent: bartending.  As soon as our founder, Josh, was of age to do so, he was bartending!  He went to college, he earned a degree, he worked in Corporate America but he never stopped bartending throughout all of it!

As he traveled the country for his corporate job, he noticed one largely surprising consistency - great bartenders are hard to come by!  Josh believes that bartenders should not only be the person providing drinks for an establishment, they should also be intuitive, knowledgeable, give an ear and a smile and live up to the long history of providing stellar and respectful service to patrons.  With each passing city in his travels, Josh noticed that many bartenders had become slow-serving, careless, workers that showed more disdain for patrons than the respect and appreciation they deserved for offering their patronage.

Over time, this became very frustrating for Josh, especially as a bartender who took pride in his work.  With each upsetting experience, he became closer and closer to realizing that he could help change it.  He pondered that while it's difficult to change the world for everybody, he could at least provide a world of change for one person at a time.

That's how ServingDrinks.com started.  A simple but strong will to help increase the amount of quality bartenders in our society while ensuring that the level of service, responsibility, and respect they instill in their job leaves more patrons in a world that is at least a little better than the one they walked in with.
